We believe that every believer has been called to actively enage in the work of missions and evangelism. We strive to do this by prayer, mobilization, giving and going for missions work. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus instructs his disciples, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." This "Great Commission" is a call to action, urging Christians to spread the Good News and make disciples. Acts 1:8 reminds us of the global nature of this work. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." This verse highlights the transformative power of the Holy Spirit in enabling believers to be effective witnesses for Christ.
We invite you to partner with us in this work through your prayers, financial support and participation in missions activities. Below are some of the missions and evangelism activities we are involved in.
Tana River missions support
Neslon and Winnie Mandela are missionaries based in Tana River county. They conduct evangelism on one on one basis, family visits, running services / bible studies in their house and running a dispensary. They work amongst the Ilwana tribe in that area.
UK missions support
George and Martha Chege are currently raising funds to support their missions work in the UK. They are trusting God to live and do the work of evangelism in Machester. As the mordern workd continues to grasp with the realities of atheism and anti-christian sentiments, the Cheges are determined to bring the light of the gospel to the people of UK.
Door to door evangelism and crusades
We believe that our surrounding community is our first mission field. We conduct door to door evangelism in various estates in Ruiru and its environs. We also conduct crusades in the community to reach out to more people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Kid's evangelism (Vacation Bible Study)
Christ reminds us that we should not hinder children from coming to Him. We conduct vacation bible study for kids during the school holidays. This is a time for kids to learn about Jesus, play games and have fun.
